I really enjoy listening to the speakers that have come and shared about legal challenges across the country. I always walk away amazed of all the info I’ve learned; I’m never disappointed.

I’ve been paid the equivalent of less than $1/hour for the last few years in a failed business venture and will never see income from it. I have finally given up on it and if I had the ability, I would be taking him to court since I just learned he bought another new car instead of paying me my fair share. It is because of this and other hardships that I will not be attending, once again. Life really sucks being on the registry. I’m sorry.
Janice, I should have informed you weeks before. Quite regretfully, due to at least two of my AB109 probation stipulations, I’m not allowed to attend the conference: as I have probation’s eyes on me through a GPS ankle-monitor, it’s right next to a middle-school, which I have to stay at least 100 yards away from, and it’s also “where other sex offenders congregate”. (I never completely understood the latter stipulation.) Finally, my PO is unflattered by any of my potential visits onto university campuses, since it’s “where kids can and do congregate”, not to mention the allegedly “abundant availability of internet access” there; as you may or may not remember, my conviction is CP. I should be completed with probation mid-November of this year, but until then, I have little option.
That being said, I could really benefit from the conference’s discussions, notably on cp issues, housing and employment, and lgbt issues. Is the conference going to be video recorded?
Unless something could be done wihtin 2 days regarding my being unpermitted to attend, I guess I’ll see everyone at dinner Friday; which I am allowed to attend.
